For the 9th time RNLI staff will come together on 23 June to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day. The college will host 35 female pupils from seven schools across Bournemouth and Poole to enjoy a hands-on day of science, technology, engineering and maths-related challenges and demonstrations. Staff from Engineering and Supply and other departments, with support from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue, volunteer to lead the activities.
For the first time, staff at our production facility on the Isle of Wight, where Inshore Lifeboats are produced, will be hosting 20 female pupils from four schools.
