- Set up a Women's Network or arrange a social event for your women engineers.
- Publicise your support for women engineers through promoting female role models.
- Advertise the day to your members and encourage them to organise their own events
- Start a campaign to encourage your women members to apply for Professional status and Fellowships
- Ask your current Fellows to recommend a female colleague for Fellowship
- Organise a prestige lecture given by one of your senior women engineers or by a Karen Burt Award nominee
- Ask your members to join the WES Register of Women Engineers, Inspiring the Future, or STEM Ambassadors
- Encourage your members to volunteer as Mentors in WES’ MentorSET programme
- Promote INWED18 to your members and encourage them to set up their own events
- Survey your women members to see what support they want, and roadmap your activities to support this outcome
- Organise a Women's Networking Event or mentoring workshop
- Consider appointing a Diversity and Inclusion Officer
- Review your Diversity Policy and ensure that you are doing enough to ensure Diversity, Equality and Inclusion
