In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day, CSA Catapult will be hosting At the Forefront of Innovation at 13:00 on Tuesday 22nd June, when we will be joined by a panel of female engineers, who are collaborating on projects and developing next-generation technology. Speakers include Dr Fatemeh Hoveizavi, Senior Engineer at CSA Catapult, Leesa Kingman, Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer at Arralis and Professor Merlyne De Souza, Chair in Microelectronics at University of Sheffield.

The theme for INWED 2021 is #EngineeringHeroes, which the Women’s Engineering Society describe as ‘the best, brightest and bravest women in engineering, who recognise a problem, then dare to be part of the solution’. Our panellists will discuss influential role models and the challenges they face when driving forward innovation.

This conversation aims to celebrate engineers who progress projects, consider ways we can create equal space for all innovators in STEM, and advocate key skills to inspire female engineers of the future.

The session will close with a Q&A – we welcome your questions.

Please note: this webinar will be recorded.
