The School of Aerospace, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at Swansea University are hosting an event on our Bay Campus, for female Year 9 pupils who have selected Triple Science as their GCSE options, from local schools around Swansea, to attend our event on Monday 10th June 2024.
The event agenda is as follows:
– Welcome
– Introductory lectures from each Engineering Discipline at Swansea University
– Female Engineering post-doc students talks (will discuss their Engineering experiences/journey so far)
– Engineering lab tours across SU Bay Campus
– ‘Zine’-making workshop for our female attendees to create their own ‘zine’ about what they have learned during the event/what Engineering discipline inspired them the most/what type of Engineer would they like to be
