Prior to INWED, Year 9 D&T students completed a number of STEM-based mini-projects including sustainable design and engineering. To contribute to INWED, they were asked to research 1 of 8 Women Engineering Pioneers to create an A4 poster. They also had to draw an engineering-themed invention. The best posters and inventions would be displayed in the D&T and Computing departments, and shared on our school’s social pages on the 23rd June.
On the 28th June, the head of Computing will present a whole school assembly to share information about INWED and the work created by Year 9.
