The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) is an independent charity with a membership of over 2,200 individuals reflecting the diversity of the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sector (RACHP). It provides a central resource for people from all over the world to improve the application of refrigeration and allied fields for the general good of society with particular emphasis on environment, efficiency, safety and innovation. The IOR established the IOR’s Women in RACHP Network which supports and promotes the advancement of women and men working in the RACHP sector.

The Engage Programme has thus far reached over 1,000 pupils in local schools and awarded bursaries, scholarships and mentoring to those wishing to advance their careers in the engineering field and creative industries.

Winning seven consecutive double Drivers’ and Constructors’ World Championships from 2014 to 2020 and securing a record-breaking eighth consecutive Constructors’ Championship success in 2021, the Team is one of the most successful in the sport’s history.

Network Rail
