This year we invite you to join us in a celebration of innovation, sharing your stories and those of the remarkable women who have inspired you. Together let’s reflect on the significant contributions made by women in our field and inspire future pioneers to pursue greatness.
“I’m part of the Heating and Cooling Group at London South Bank University, where we conduct research on district heating and cooling and refrigeration in the cold chain. Our work focuses on developing solutions to decarbonise heating and cooling systems and we work closely with industry, academia and government to ensure the research has a wide impact in the sector and society.”

Nausheen is currently a Research Associate at Imperial College London, working on an EPSRC-funded project that integrates machine learning with computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Her work focuses on enhancing the performance and discovering new designs for chemical reactors. By using faster machine learning-assisted computational models, she aims to overcome previous computational bottlenecks.

“I was involved in designing large heat pumps, providing green solutions for heating and cooling.”
“I’ve been involved with many fun and engaging projects over the years but my favourite has been supporting young Engineers or budding Engineers whether that is through helping Judge WSUK regional heats, organising donations of much-needed equipment to colleges or working with Schools to promote STEM.”
