As a non-profit charity, we rely solely on our sponsors and donors to operate INWED and get more girls and women into engineering.

National Women in Engineering Day (NWED) was launched by WES in 2014 without any funding, but nevertheless has had a significant impact on diversity in schools and the wider community. We received UNESCO patronage in 2016 and the campaign was relaunched as International Women in Engineering Day in 2017 and it continues to be global today.

It is our aim to widen the impact of this day every year with your help. Whether you have spare time, funds, skills, ideas or a voice to lend on social media, we’re grateful for all support.
